Explore the city of Edinburgh and learn about its historic past and colourful characters.

Discover the industrial heritage of Glasgow, once the second richest city in the British Empire, or visit Dundee once the ‘Jute’ capital of the world, step aboard the expedition ship the ‘Discovery’ or visit Scotland’s first design museum, the V&A Dundee.

Take time in Inverness to stroll along the river Ness, experience some highland hospitality and hear about the fate of the Jacobites.

There are so many towns and villages to explore – the University town of St Andrews with its turbulent past and its rise to fame as the ‘home of golf’, Dunfermline once the capital of Scotland – home to Dunfermline Abbey, the burial place of St Margaret and King Robert the Bruce, and birthplace of the famous industrialist ‘Andrew Carnegie’.

The 17th century village of Culross where time stands still, and Falkland village famous for its royal palace – both villages have been used for filming in the popular TV drama ‘Outlander’.
